We
went to the lookout “La Lancha” for having lunch. In a tree a lot of birds can
be seen. Between the branches we discovered this beautiful Eurasian nuthatch,
which is collecting fruits and bringing them to a particular place in the tree
to be able to crash the shell easily.

particular yunque.
The
“whinny” of the European green woodpecker can be heard and a great spotted woodpecker flies
near us. A common chaffinch doesn’t lose sight of the nuthatch and when this
flies away, it picks the rest of the fruits that it left in its particular
anvil.

lince. La primavera por estas tierras va adelantada. Entre las flores del
cantueso, aparece alguna mariposa.
After
the lunch we went back to look for the Lynx. The spring goes first in this
place. Between the flowers of the Spanish lavender some butterflies appear.
In
the sky flies a subadult of Spanish imperial eagle, a “Checkerboard”, so known
due to its particular plumage with black and white feathers.

roquero solitario.
Higher
in the air a young golden eagle cycles with some griffon vultures and from the
rocks a female of blue rock thrush observes us.

The
evening goes on and there are no more observations of lynx, although we have
been really entertained with the rest of the winged fauna. On the way back,
with the last lights of the day we find this red deer showing its spectacular
antlers opposite the sky.
