Last Sunday, the 12th of March, some members of Anapri went to take part of the demonstration in favor of apropriate conservation actions for the wolf.
Entre aullidos y bajo el eslogan "Lobo vivo, lobo protegido" miles de personas convocadas por más de 200 organizaciones medioambientales caminamos para pedir una protección efectiva y con garantías del lobo ibérico.
Among howls and with the slogan "living wolf, protected wolf" thousands of people, who were convend by over 200 environmental organisations, walked together asking for an effective protection and with garantees for the iberian wolf.

Durante la marcha ha estado muy presente la figura de Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, de cuya muerte se cumplieron el pasado lunes 14 de marzo 37 años. Con el lema de "Félix, escucha, seguimos con tu lucha" los manifestantes y organizadores hemos querido recordar la labor del naturalista y divulgador por la imagen del lobo. "Él les sacó de la categoría de alimaña y ahora hemos vuelto a eso".
The figure of Félix Rodriguez de la Fuente, who died on the 14th of March 37 years ago, has been very present during the march. With the motto "listen Felix, we keep going with your fight" the demostrators and organizers wanted to remind the work the natiralist and promoter did in pro of the wolf image. "He took them from the vermin cathegory and now we are back there again".

El lobo es el único carnívoro que hoy en día no está protegido en España. Aunque su población se estima en 2.000 ejemplares, no existe un censo real desde hace 15 años.
Otras de las reivindicaciones, es precisamente, que se realice un censo con una metodología adecuada y totalmente independiente.
The wolf is the only predator that nowadays is not protected in Spain. Although it's population has been stimated in 2.000 animals, no real census has been made for 15 years.
Some of the claims were in deed, that an independent census with accurate methods needs to be done.

Los defensores del lobo no estamos contra los ganaderos, así se coreaba con el eslogan “Vacas y lobos, vivos todos".
La administración debería dar subvenciones a los ganaderos para potenciar la conservación del lobo y su coexistencia pacífica con los ganaderos.
The defenders of the wolf are not against the farmers, and thus the slogan "cows and wolfs, all alive" was chanted.
The administratios should give grants to the farmers in order to enhace the protection of the wolf and it's peaceful coexistence with the farmers.

La manifestación culminó en la Puerta del sol con la lectura de un manifiesto por parte de los representantes de las asociaciones conservacionistas más relevantes y algunos pastores.
The demonstration ended at Puerta del Sol with the lecture of a manifest by the representatives of the most important conservationist asiciations and some shepherds.

Realmente emocionante y esperanzador. It was really exciting and encouraging.
